SUMMARY:Sunday Family Woodland Conservation and Craft themed sessions
DESCRIPTION:Every other Sunday we are running a Family Sunday Nature club from 1.00pm located at Childwall Woods LNR and sometimes Blackwoods. \nDates: 23rd Sept\, 7th Oct (Forest bathing)\, 21st Oct & 4th Nov\nAll ages over 2\n£6.00 per child\, adults free\nInclude fruit snacks and drink and certificates (we try to cater for all dietary needs)\nWe will do various themes in sessions. \nSession include ; \n\nLife in deadwood and leaf litter there’s so much going on under your feet.\nTracks\, trails and camouflage\, are you prepared to get dirty?\nWinter bird food\, it’s messy but so important.\nWoodland adventure\, getting to know your woodland.\nNature detectives and woodland Olympics\nBird boxes or insect homes\,take them home and watch our flying friends hopefully raise a brood.\nInsect homes\, take them home and help our bees and beetles.\nEcology based Learning about the natural world from caterpillars to bats.\nArt and craft using natural materials and other materials\, felt\, eco paints.\nTree planting and wildflower planting to help the nature reserves take bloom.\nGames\,nature play.\n\nRatio 5:1. \nWaterproof coat will be useful and sturdy footwear recommended. \nWe give every child a certificate and a paper bag with handouts. \nBooking essential since working on strict ratio.\nGo to link below\nor book via website using registration form and bank transfer.\nwww.trees4kids.co.uk\nIf rained off full refund given on day.\nThese are outdoor nature learning sessions\, we will not be doing camp fires.
