Forest Bathing, Woodland Mindfulness and Eco crafts

A Mindful not a Mindfull! Forest Bathing session.
For adults and children who need to relax in nature.
ADULTS FREE.
Zoning in on our senses and letting the woods healing properties uplift us.For children, exploring all the colours, sounds,shapes,learning about animals living in the woods,and foraging for natural art materials for our planned beautiful eco creations.
Forest bathing or shinrin-yoku,was developed in Japan in 1980s.Its about immersing yourself in a natural environment focusing on the sensory experience.
Time in woods can boost immune function, reduce stress hormones and cause you to Physically relax.
This is a session to slow down and being in the moment.
Switch off our phones etc.
Details:
We will have the session split into adults and children for the first half, so Mums and Dads can do some meditation, forest bathing and chilling.We will also make herbal teas eg rosehip or nettle.Bring a yoga mat or something to lie/sit on.
For the second half, (last 45mins) we can either join up or parents can leave and come back at end of the session to pick up children.
Second half we do the fun natural art and making the owl decorations from pine cones and felt.
We provide some healthy snacks, eg fruit,nuts.
We give you a little paper goody bag, with certificate for children, ecology handouts, and a little treat for mums or dads, eg a little eco soap or similar.
If rained off, automatically refund payment.
