The team comprises a forest school trained practitioner, a health and safety officer, playgroup leader and ecologists.
We feel passionate about nature education, children’s health and strive to develop a respect for the natural world through our sessions. We aim to provide sessions that are engaging, creative, with a solid ecological foundation.
For example, a session may be about identifying trees, butterfly surveys, making insect homes etc. Others may be about free play, creative games, nature detectives. We can adapt sessions according to needs of the group.
All our sessions have minimal impact. We do not make camp fires for many ecological reasons at nature sites. We have upmost respect for the sites where we work, and hope to pass on our knowledge, skills to others.
Our work has received very positive feedback, and we were a finalist in the Environmental Awards for our work in marine education.
