Bug Hunt – Mini Beast Sessions

Now the weather is becoming warmer, it’s great time to get out and look for insects. What do we know about insects? What eats them? Where do they live?

Remember – bugs are very tiny and are probably scared of you. So we will use special equipment to look at them closely.

We follow a nature trail and identify as many insects as we can using id books and use different methods to survey insects.

Equipment provided.
Also paint a pebble ladybug craft activity.
Ages plus 4 (thereabouts)
